Our COVID 19 Daily Schedule & Activities List - FREE Printables!

The first week of our social distancing was a free for all for my little family. By the way, a “free-for-all” for a 4 year old and 2 year old, only results in CHAOS. As a mom who usually works from home while her kids are at school, chaos being the “norm” wasn’t an option. So I came up with a schedule I thought would work best for us and our kids!

Before you download the schedule: Because my husband and I both work from home on a regular basis, we budget in a home-helper who assists us with the kids. From 9:30-3:30 our kids are currently at home with our helper following the schedule I created. However, don’t be discouraged that you can’t follow this plan if you don’t have help! I made it so that on the days when we don’t have our mommy’s helper with us I can step in, facilitate the start of an activity, then step back to work. You can do this and work from home!

Don’t put too much pressure on yourself: This schedule is just a guide! I myself don’t even follow it to a “T” every day. Sometimes outdoor play lasts longer or screen time needs to extend because of work. Other days we all just need to sleep in or I choose to let Ellie stay up to watch a movie. DO WHAT WORKS FOR YOU. The “schedule” is really just a guide!

Outdoor & Indoor Activities: I would love to spend my evenings preparing crafts and elaborate outdoor activities for my kids. But, let’s face it… not happening at the end of a work day where I’ve also been with my kids all day! I just want to veg out and that doesn’t include craft prep to be honest. So, I’m always looking for easy yet fun things for the kids to do both outside and indoors. I compiled a quick and easy list of activities that don’t require too much parent supervision for a toddler. Someone around here has got to get some work done! However if you have the availability, play with your kids!
