Ellie’s room is truly a labor of love. I had many plans for it’s completion when we finished renovating before Christmas last year…most of which, did not happen in the time frame I thought it would. DIY projects galore filled my planner, then life grabbed me by the heel. But I had my eye on an end goal, and no matter how far I strayed from that at times, I’m glad I came back to it.

Many times in our lives we stray from our goals. Sometimes we lose sight of our purpose and get distracted by worldly substitutes. Oh but the prize is worth the focus it takes. Run towards your God-given goals. Don’t allow life to steal you away from your purpose. You will be proud of the finished work God has in store for you, don’t quit!

Phillipians 3:14 I run toward the goal, so I can win the prize of being called to heaven. This is the prize God offers because of what Christ Jesus has done.
