Focus on You
Ellie often dry snitches on JT🤦🏽♀️, then attempts to convince me of what his punishment should be. I can hear her vengeful tone of voice now as she growls with eyes low and says through clenched teeth, (like how I talk to her in public), “SPANK him Mommy.” She gets so captivated with JT’s wrongdoing and the punishment she believes should follow, that she overlooks her error of her own ways.

When we focus our attention on the actions of others instead of asking God to search and expose our own hearts, we waste the time and energy needed for our own personal growth. Attempting to control the actions and/or consequences of others only results in blindness towards our own personal transgressions. Let’s make sure our eyes are focused inwards, knowing that God holds each of us personally responsible for our own behavior. Tag somebody who needs to hear this. Jkjkjk 😂
