It's My Birthday!
Bringing in 28 with a grateful heart. Today I’m taking the time to see every normal thing I may graze by, through the lenses of joy and gratitude.
The random stuff on my island this morning is evidence I have children who are alive and healthy. Something as simple as sitting with family talking is evidence of the abundant wisdom
present and easily accessible in my life. Josh and I getting into a little disagreement this morning shows me I have a husband who loves me enough to push himself to express his feelings in love and quickly reconcile.
I’m bringing in my 28th year making the choice to see every good thing there is to see in my normal moments and respond to God in thankfulness to the best of my ability for the remainder of my life.
Thank you God for everyday past and every day ahead! Thank you for the people you placed around me as my family and the friends you placed in my path for me to choose. Thank you Lord for the bad days that taught me and the good days that bring joy. Thank you for health! For children who teach me about you and about myself, as your child. Thank you God for a husband who mirrors you. While he reflects you Im taught in love how to partner with you while still submitting, this principle brings incredible unity. Thank you for the gift of the option to have oneness with you and forgiveness when I choose wrong the first time.
Psalm 10:1-5 On your feet now—applaud God! Bring a gift of laughter, sing yourselves into his presence. We’re his people, his well-tended sheep.
